Why are there different counters for minutes?

Tovie DialogStudio has two different minute counters:

  • for speech recognition and synthesis;
  • for outbound calls.

If you use a third-party SIP connection for your calls, you do not use Tovie DialogStudio telephony. Therefore, you do not spend minutes for outbound calls and are not charged for them.

While making calls, you are still using speech recognition and synthesis that Tovie DialogStudio provides. So we charge you for recognition and synthesis minutes.

If you have run out of minutes on one of the counters, you can at any moment buy an extra package of the minutes you need.
