Project creation and editing
To create a project in Tovie Platform:
- Go to the Tovie Platform main page and click + Create project.
- Select one of the ways to create a project:
- Specify the necessary settings.
After the project has been created, you can move on to creating a bot.
How to create a project
Create a project from scratch

Fill in the fields:
- Project name — the project name, required field.
- NLU language — the language the bot will understand.

Select where to store the project:
- GitHub or Bitbucket.
- Another service.
- Local storage in Tovie Platform (the Create and store project in Tovie Platform link).
Create a project from a template
In this case, you can create a project based on one of the Tovie Platform templates.

Select the language and the template:

NLU language — the language the bot will understand.

Template — a pre-configured bot example.
tipThe template will be loaded automatically and can be connected to a channel right away. Different templates have different content and structure: check the description below the template name.

Connect to a Git project
Specify the project name and select where to store it:
Upload an existing project
You can upload the file with your project from your device.

Fill in the fields:
- Project name — the project name, required field.
- ZIP file — the field for uploading your archive.

Select where to store the project:
- GitHub or Bitbucket.
- Another service.
- Local storage in Tovie Platform (the Create and store project in Tovie Platform link).
Project editing
You can edit project settings after it has been created:
- On the Tovie Platform main page, find the project you want to edit in the My projects section.
- Click next to the project name → Project settings.
- Apply all the necessary changes on the tabs:
- Name — edit the project name, NLU language, and add the description.
- Location — edit the Git repository settings.
- Classifier.
- NLU settings.
- Click Save.
