Tovie DialogStudio subscription plans

Tovie DialogStudio has two sets of plans:

  • Plans for chatbots will suit you if you want to use Tovie DialogStudio to create text bots to communicate with users.
  • Plans for calls will suit you if you want to use Tovie DialogStudio only for calling and receiving inbound calls.

After signing up to Tovie DialogStudio, you get a subscription to the Free plan for chatbots and calls. You can try out all Tovie DialogStudio features to make sure it is the right product for your business.

Free plan

The Free plan:

  • Includes:
  • With the Free plan, you have access to all Tovie DialogStudio functions and API integrations.
  • This plan is untimed. You can switch to another subscription plan whenever you need.
Additional packages are not available on the Free plan.

Plans for chatbots

On any chatbot plan, you can:

  • Connect channels supported by Tovie DialogStudio.
  • Use integrations with API services.

Chatbot plans differ in limits on the number of unique users, as well as available additional packages. If you connect the Tovie Agent customer engagement platform, please also consider limits on agents and agent groups.

Skill Master

Skill Master is a free subscription plan you can use to build skills for voice assistants. No other channels are available for this plan.

Skill Master allows your bot to communicate with up to 80,000 unique users per month. The number of intents and FAQ entries you can use in scripts for your voice assistant skills is unlimited.

Business JivoChat

Business JivoChat is a paid subscription plan under which you can only use the JivoChat channel.

This plan includes:

  • 500 unique users per month;
  • 2 agents and 1 group for the Tovie Agent customer engagement platform;
  • 2,000 calls to ChatGPT.
If your script has any channels other than JivoChat before you switch to the Business JivoChat plan, these channels will be deactivated.

Minute charge details

For calls, you can use your own telephony connection or use the Tovie DialogStudio telephony.

If you want to use your own telephony connection, you will only be charged for speech recognition and synthesis minutes. If you plan to use Tovie DialogStudio telephony, then you need to buy an additional package of telephony minutes, since we have separate counters for:

  • The time spent on speech recognition and synthesis.
  • The time that was used for calls.

It means that during a call, we separate the “effort” spent on communication, and the “effort” spent on speech recognition and synthesis.

The minutes that you do not use expire at the end of the billing period.

Chatbot usage

If you have a call subscription plan and want to publish a chatbot, you need to purchase an additional package that includes unique users.

At that, you will have access to the same features as for chatbot plans. You may also connect Tovie Agent as a customer engagement platform. In this case, the limits are:

  • 2 agents and 1 agent group for the Calls Startup plan.
  • 30 agents and 5 groups for other plans.
The limits on agents and groups are the same for all additional packages, regardless of their volumes.

Additional packages

If you run out of unique users or minutes of speech recognition and synthesis or if you want to use Tovie DialogStudio telephony for calls, you can buy additional packages.

You can choose a package and pay for it in the PricingAdditional packages section.

The available limits of additional packages depend on your subscription plan:

Additional packages do not expire at the end of the billing period.

Switching the subscription plan

When switching from one subscription plan to another, bear the following in mind:

  • You can switch to the Startup plan only when you are on the Free plan.
  • If you switch either from a free subscription plan to a paid subscription plan or from a paid subscription plan to a more expensive subscription plan, you will be switched to the new subscription plan immediately.
  • If you switch from a paid subscription plan either to a free subscription plan or to a cheaper subscription plan, you will be switched to the new subscription plan starting from the next billing period.
  • You cannot purchase the same subscription plan before the end of the current billing period. If you run out of minutes or unique users, you can buy additional minute packages or switch to a more expensive subscription plan.
